  • Rose of Sharon – Beauty of the Beloved: Rose of Sharon anointing oil is a unique blend of pure olive oil from Israel with an essential oil base of Rose of Sharon. In Song of Solomon 2:1, THE BELOVED speaks of herself as a “rose of Sharon“, a common meadow flower found in the fertile coastal region of Sharon in Israel. The Rose of Sharon fragrance is best described as “tea-rose”, a not-too-sweet, light, floral scent which does not overpower.
  • Spikenard – Worship & Praise: A rare and costly fragrant oil, was used by Mary of Bethany to anoint the head and feet of the Messiah two days before His death, as recorded in John 12:3. Spikenard speaks of the Bride’s extravagant adoration of & intimacy with the Bridegroom, in total abandonment, without regard to cost.
  • Frankincense and Myrrh – Healing & Intercession: In Temple days, sweet incense containing FRANKINCENSE was place on the Altar of Incense and burned morning and evening.  In Scripture, incense is often associated with prayer and intercession. In Scripture, incense is often associated with prayer and intercession.  David prayed: “May my prayer be set before you like incense.” (Ps 141:2). MYRRH, used as a burial spice and in purification rites in ancient Israel, was a primary ingredient of the Holy Anointing Oil.  It speaks of suffering and death, but more importantly, our total deliverance & healing provided in the atoning work of Messiah. FRANKINCENSE & MYRRH, two of the three prophetic gifts given to the Messiah at His birth, represent His role as Priest and Prophet, specifically all that He would do and continues to do on our behalf.
